We had an amazing stay at the Buena Vista Resort Motel in Qualicum Beach! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful waterfront. We stayed in the Georgia Suite, which was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The queen bed was comfortable, the couch and kitchenette made it feel like a home away from home, and the private deck with a table and chairs was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Qualicum Beach is a charming little town, and staying here made it easy to explore while having a peaceful retreat to return to. Whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, this spot is comfortable year-round. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway by the ocean! We’ll definitely be back.

The pictures do not represent this place whatsoever. There is no Sandy Beach in front of this place. Overgrown by weeds and Marsh. Did not have a path from the motel to the beach. there were no sounds of waves actually just sounds of crickets. The price for a night almost $300 is absolutely ridiculous. Didn’t get much sleep because the bedroom was beside the busy highway!! We had to drive down for quite a ways to find the Sand beaches. Hopefully this review will help others not to follow for the same mistake we did.

We checked in at low tide and were greeted with an overwhelming stench of fish. The view is lovely, and there is a great, large communal outdoor space, but who would want to hang outside with that smell? I realized when we checked out and the air still reeked that it's the location, not the time of day. Also, the rooms are tired and a little depressing. We booked here because of the kitchen, but beware. I'd spend another $50 a night and get something much nicer.

The room was amazing- having full cooking facilities means we could cook our own meals to taste and save money for other experiences. It was clean and comfortable, so spacious - such a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely come again!

Booked a last minute vacation & we chose Buena Vista because the first few pictures of the view, is what sold us on it. However, once we got to our room, we fell in love with all of it. Loved the privacy of our suite. Each room comes with a private patio with a breathtaking view. It is so comforting & cozy in that it feels like a home, where you can relax way more than you ever can, in a hotel. Love it and prefer it over a hotel, any day of the week. Restaurant, bar, cafe, and convenience store, just minutes walking from the Buena Vista. Literally a 30 second walk from the deck to the beach. Multiple spots on the deck to lounge and relax. There is a communal BBQ to utilize. The landscaping is beautiful and maintained daily. There are basic kitchen utensils and pots, pans, cutting boards, etc available in the suite. I loved this considering I love to cook, so we just shopped locally and cooked our own meals during our stay. Will definitely be coming back and hopefully booking the same room again!! Dealt with Luciano, very sweet and patient manager. The pictures don't do the Buena Vista proper justice, you have to be there and experience it yourself to really see and appreciate this hidden gem of a place!!

We can meet here for a quick stopover on our motorcycle trip through the island - what a fantastic spot! We were upgraded right away to an amazing cute suite over looking the ocean, with a patio and views for miles. It was so gorgeous and serene. The sunrise and stars were out of this world. Also a nice area for sun lounging. We walked across the street to a pub and had a very relaxing stay. The place was 10/10 for cleanliness and we are extremely picky. Highly recommend.
