My friends and I went out for lunch at the restaurant. The service was quite poor- one server who took out order was friendly. Unfortunately the other server who delivered the food (a young woman) was rude and condescending. The kitchen messed up my friends order of a simple burger with no toppings - the server did not even say sorry and had some excuse. She never once smiled or made eye contact. This sever also gave my friend such a rude look (up and down) when she walked out to the bathroom. The food was also mediocre - soup, Mac n cheese, hamburger and the veggie burger. Very overpriced considering the dissapointing food! Only good thing was the view. Not a great experience here!

Amazing experience here, well worth the price in my opinion. Staff were all GENUINELY kind helpful and nice, every front desk staff I spoke with were amazing and informative, our restaurant server was also extremely attentive and ensured our experience was phenomenal. The bed was extremely comfortable and ensured an amazing sleep, and room amenities were so good. Came here for a two day getaway and had the absolutely most relaxing time Would 100% recommend this place over the other places in Parksville

The Beach Club is a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the views in a very welcoming and comfortable setting. The rooms are well appointed, some with kitchens and have everything you would need to relax and enjoy the visit and the views, never get tired of looking out the window! The staff at the resort are very friendly as well. I love the recycling program and the green initiatives for compost. The restaurant food is also delicious with an emphasis on local seafood presented beautifully. This is the perfect location to come alone, as a couple and with family and friends! Walk along the boardwalk, it’s a great walk asking the shore and past the park.

Our first stay at this hotel, also dome dining at their restaurant and both have been great! We checked in with a nice gentlemen and we asked if we can get a room at higher floor, end up getting a nice ocean view room..big bonus there! Room is quite clean with all amenities, in room organic coffee was a decent surprise. Bed is a bit too soft for me but my family love it lol Couldn’t hear much noise except ppl walking by, taking they are fully booked during new year. Front desk has been helpful with our various need thru the stay, overall a quite enjoyable experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach Club Resort overall. The location is excellent, with Parksville right there and a lovely boardwalk that’s perfect for walks and relaxing by the ocean. The service staff truly stood out — everyone worked hard to make us feel welcome and comfortable, which we really appreciated. The rooms themselves were on the smaller side and not especially impressive, and while we were hoping for a water-facing room, some of the surrounding buildings blocked the view. The staff did move us to a slightly better room, which we appreciated, even though the location still felt a bit awkward. One of the biggest highlights is the restaurant — it’s excellent. We’ve gone back several times just to eat there without staying at the resort, and we’ll definitely continue to do so. Overall, a great spot for the location, service, and dining, with a few room-related improvements that could make it even better.

I had a decent stay at The Beach Club Resort, but it wasn’t quite the experience the price suggests. The location is the biggest win. You’re right on the beach, close to the boardwalk and restaurants, and the views are great. The room was clean and comfortable, and parking was included in my rate, which I appreciated. Staff were friendly enough and check-in was smooth. What really confused me was the $20 per night resort fee. It wasn’t clearly explained. Wi-Fi? Pool access? Parking? Parking was already included, Wi-Fi felt basic, and the pool and hot tub were fine but nothing special. For a resort fee, I expected something more obvious or worthwhile. The pool area is small and can feel crowded. Some parts of the hotel also feel a bit dated, especially considering the nightly rate. It’s not bad — just not what you’d expect for a “resort” at this price point. Overall, it’s a nice place with an amazing location, but the value doesn’t fully match the cost once you factor in the extra fees. I’d stay again for the beach access, but with lower expectations.

We came for a get away to celebrate, hoping for quiet and peacefulness Pros: we requested a room by the ocean (which was a higher price point) and the view was beautiful! The beds are comfy and they had coffee/tea in the rooms. Service is punctual. Cons: Sleeping was not amazing because it was loud. The first night we could hear the upstairs guests music, doors slamming. For the second night we could hear people talking/doors slamming/listening to music beside us late in the night (past midnight). I was not expecting this, so it was disappointing for me as I was really hoping for quiet stay. When we shared this with front desk, we were advised to call them and let them know. I understand people are enjoying themselves, so I think it’s more about the sound proofing of our room wasn’t amazing. Perhaps it was just our room, which was on the first floor, that had these issues. So if you’re hoping to book here and enjoy quiet, please consider the room you’re booking… maybe ask for a higher floor. If sound isn’t important to you then this location, room and resort is nice!

We had a wonderful stay at The Beach Club Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our visit feel extra special. The restaurant was fantastic as well — great food and great service. Our room was exactly what we needed: quiet, comfortable, and with a beautiful ocean view. We loved relaxing on the deck and taking in the scenery. The location is perfect with direct access to the boardwalk, which is always such a lovely walk. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in Parksville. We’ll definitely be back! ??

I expected more with the reviews. Not a 5 star hotel. Lobby not warm or welcoming. It has no view to the beach. Small tucked away restaurant. Our room looked at the roof of the lobby and exterior lights shining into it. However the bed was comfortable and nice linen. Sufficient for short overnight stay not a room to spend time in to relax.
