This is a gem in the center of Vancouver Island. This wee smaller property has the nicest staff. Friendly and accommodating wherever possible. Property is very clean, rooms are lovely and a good size. Shampoos, soaps, lotions and hairdryer. Kitchenette rooms are available with small stove fridge microwave, dishes, etc.. standard rooms have fridge/microwave. Very short distance to water. They offer free mini golf at great facility across street (which looks great), when guest at hotel. Steak house next door, but other restaurants are nearby. Hotel offers a lounge, with TV seating and coffee machine. also has patio with tables and BBQ for use. This is a great little place!!

Only stayed one night but the room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were super friendly and helpful. No food service but there is a free coffee machine and a vending machine in the lounge area. Restaurants nearby.

Decent location in Parksville. Parking can be a bit tight. Staff are always super friendly. If you're looking for a budget friendly stay, this is a great spot. No real amenities, so that's why I gave it a 3 out of 5. Perfectly fine though, and would stay here again.

Stayed one night. Convenient. Clean and affordable. Was there in the off season and secured a good rate. Front desk staff were friendly and the coffee machine with various coffees in the lounge was a plus.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. As others mentioned, the coffee/ tea machine on the main floor was a nice touch, rather than just the pods in the room. The free access to mini golf etc across the street was a lovely bonus. Location is convenient to beach and shops etc. room had comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was clean. The room just seemed little tired, and in need of an update. But not bad. Since we were on the main floor we had a small patio and we enjoyed having access to an outdoor space. There was adequate parking, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We would definitely consider staying there when in the area again.

Stayed one night early September. Rooms were very clean. Rooms seemed quite soundproof as we were not awakened at all by any hallway noise. We were able to walk across the street at night to play mini golf , courtesy of the coast hotel. They also had a good ice cream selection at the mini golf course. Staff at front desk were very pleasant and efficient. We were able to walk 5-10 minutes and find numerous places to have supper.

The hotel has a nice coffee machine with good selection of tea bags on the first floor. This hotel also has a sister fun park across the street. Guest can play mini golf for free. The fun park is well managed. Although we arrived around 9pm, we managed to complete 18 holes for the family and then we realized there is another course in the same park, but we didn't have time to play. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Staff were excellent! Unfortunately room 104 had many issues with laminate flooring lifting up and chunks out of it. Shower stall had a big whole in it! Base boards in the bathroom were swollen and painted over making us think there must have been a flood and who know what was behind the drywall, mold, mildew? would have thought that a Coast Hotel would have higher standards!

Coast Parksville is a fine gem in a very convenient location. Our room is clean. The staff are super friendly. The front desk staff walked through the hotel amenities with us after checking in to make sure that we have an enjoyable stay. Everyone works there greeted us with a smile when we walked by them and even held the door for us. It was definitely one of our most pleasant stay and we will stay there again when we come to Parksville next time.

The hotel is sparkle clean, elegantly designed, well equipped. The lounge downstairs is relaxing, cozy, with a complimentary variety of coffee drinks from an instant coffee maker. The reception desk manager, Ailene, made us feel at home. I highly recommend this delightful hotel.
